London Pub Wedding and a DIY Bride // Allicia + Dale

I’ve never seen anything like it before: as if planning a wedding wasn’t enough, this amazing bride Allicia made pretty much everything for her wedding.

She made her dress, the cake, the cake toppers, the dessert table including cornflake cake pops, a doughnut tree, Ferrero Rocher trees, popcorn bags, retro sweet bags, all the decorations including bunting and flower pots, the favours, thank you gifts, table decorations, a grass-themed Mr & Mrs sign for the head table, all the grassy table numbers, the scratch-off invites, cards to show her guests where to go on the day and probably more things that I’ve forgotten. After getting ready in the morning she stopped by the venue to put the dessert table together, while wearing her dress! She even managed to slip in a manicure at the Renaissance Hotel opposite Camden Town Hall minutes before the ceremony!

She also booked a surprise Mariachi band to entertain their guests, which was so much fun. And she smiled throughout the entire day. What a star! Allicia and her husband Dale are an amazing couple and I was so honoured to shoot their wedding.

You won’t be surprised to hear that after much poking from her friends and family Allicia has now gone into business as a wedding stylist/venue decorator. Let me know if you want this wedding and I’ll put you in touch with her!
