{Street photography} London South Bank

There’s nothing better than hitting the sunny South Bank in London with a camera in hand for a spot of street photography. I’ve started practicing street photography to improve my wedding photography skills: anticipating the shots; catching fleeting candid moments; capturing a snapshot of real life as it passes by. It’s nerve-wracking taking pictures of people on the street, but it’s also so thrilling, shooting real life rather than the posed shots we see today that don’t represent anything true. I’ve thrown in a few non-people shots for good measure, but I hope as I get more confident at street photography I’ll be able to fight the fear of pointing the lens at unsuspecting people!
