Mel and Mac planned their London winter wedding in only two months – with Mel’s stunning vintage style dress being delivered the week before the wedding! Tensions may have run high the night before, with last-minute plans being finalised, but the day went off without a hitch and was one of the most fun, laid back weddings I’ve shot. The ceremony was at Hackney Town Hall, and after a ride on a cute single-decker London Routemaster bus, the whole wedding party arrived at The Artisan of Clerkenwell for the party. The pub is perfect for weddings, it’s got cute decor, amazing food (biltong and pork belly canapes yum!) and has a lovely cobbled courtyard outside. When we arrived it was already getting dark (hence the first look in Victoria Park before the ceremony) but the guests were happily up for popping outside for some sparkler photos! The whole wedding was a riot – the groom had been described to me by the bride as “a bit of a lunatic” and he was, in the very best way. What an awesome couple and an amazing last minute London pub winter wedding!
