Hi, I'm Anna
I'm Anna, a cat mum and wedding photographer living in Heathfield just outside Brighton. I shoot weddings for couples who hate having their photo taken - I'll make it so easy and fun, I promise!
Lots of my couples are teachers, actors and theatre folk: brilliant with a crowd, terrible at posing. Sound familiar? You're in the right place.
I've shot about 300 kick-ass weddings, and have been full time since 2013. I also teach photography and business to other wedding photographers, and run a wedding photography community.
I love cats, dogs, tea and CrossFit and I’m a Scout leader, so I'm good at wrangling disobedient people (this ties in disturbingly well with weddings).

My style of wedding photography is a cross between making you look amazing, showing everyone how much fun it was, and giving your mum something she'll be happy putting on the mantelpiece. When I show up, I'm more of a guest with a camera, I like to get stuck in and enjoy the day, because everyone feels more relaxed around me then. Plus, if you need energy and a party starter, I'm your girl!

Lights, camera, chaos
Your wedding, but make it a movie.
You know those videos your mates take at weddings? A bit wobbly, really funny, and somehow more real than anything else. That's the vibe of my wedding films. All the hugs, the happy tears, the terrible dance moves and the bits you missed while you were busy getting married.
And you get to choose how it looks:
Retro camcorder: shot on a real 2008 Sony Handycam (not a filter!). Grainy, warm and full of feeling, like a home movie you found at the back of a cupboard 20 years later.
Modern 4K: shot on tiny handheld 4K cameras. Smooth, bright and crisp, but still totally candid. You get a 5 minute highlight film, a 1 minute reel and all the footage.
Booking photos and a film?
Whichever you pick, I film the highlights while I take your photos. The camera sits on top of mine for big moments like the first kiss and confetti, so there's no extra crew, just me.
Plus a second camera gets handed round your guests, so you get their side of the day too.
Wedding film: £500 added to your photography. Every film comes with a 1 minute reel too. You can book it on its own, just ask.
Hand your mates the camera.
Every 8 or 10 hour wedding comes with RETRO SNAPS (not included in 2 or 4 hour bookings). I bring along a proper old-school FujiFilm FinePix compact and hand it to your mates so they can shoot the day from their side.
The photos look like film, and once the sun goes down the direct flash turns everything into a 2000s nightclub photo. Blurry, wonky, totally chaotic, and exactly how the day and night felt.
You get every single shot, including the 40 selfies your uncle took by accident.

That’s for 8 hours on a Sunday to Thursday with the Uncut package. Every package is built around your day, so I'll send you a proper quote once I know your plans. Retro snaps camera included.

- Book it in. Once you're booked, I'll help with timings and ideas in the run-up to the big day.
Questions everyone asks
What if we're really awkward in front of the camera?
Most of my couples say this! I don't do stiff posing. I'll chat, crack bad jokes and give you simple things to do, and for most of the day I'm just photographing what's happening. By the time you've had a drink you'll have forgotten I'm there.
Do you do the family group shots?
Yes, all the ones your mum wants. We'll plan the list together beforehand so they're quick and painless on the day.
Can we book just a film?
Yes! Drop me a message with your date and I'll send you the details.
How does filming and photographing at the same time work?
For the key moments the camera (retro Handycam or tiny 4K) sits on top of mine, so it records while I shoot. Between those moments I swap between the two, and a second camera does the rounds with your guests.
Do you travel?
All the time. I'm based in Sussex, shoot loads in Devon and all over the UK, and I'll happily come abroad too.
